Zanu PF provincial chairpersons have urged party leaders to abide by the resolutions made at the just-ended Zanu PF conference in Masvingo supporting the leadership of President Robert Mugabe and condemned rogue elements that are making skirmishes aimed at destabilising the revolutionary party.

Presenting a statement on behalf of the party’s 10 provincial chairpersons, Manicaland Provincial Chairperson, Cde Samuel Undenge said the Zanu PF leadership in the provinces condemn the sentiments being expressed by some rogue elements such as Energy Mutodi who relentlessly use the social media to attack the party leader and head of state and government, Cde Mugabe.

He said the provincial chairpersons also call upon party leaders and all members to redirect their efforts towards winning the 2018 harmonised elections instead of political bickering.

Zanu PF Political Commissar, Cde Saviour Kasukuwere said the message by the provinces is clear and reflects the interests of the party.

Cde Kasukuwere also said the revolutionary party is in the process of restructuring and hopes to conclude the process by March as the party strengthens its structures ahead of the 2018 elections.
