A local musician Abraham Matuke is working on a collaboration song that will feature regional and international artists in a bid to promote Zimbabwe as a safe tourist destination.

The tourism song titled: 'Enjoy Zimbabwe' talks about the country’s resorts, culture and heritage and features artists from Angola, DRC, China, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The artists expressed gratitude and described the initiative as a noble one.

Matuke says he decided to embark on this project in order to tell the true Zimbabwean story while marketing the country to the world through music.

Various promotional efforts and strategies aimed at attracting more tourists into the country have been implemented and the government of Zimbabwe is targeting a US$5 billion tourism economy by 2020.
