Chinese confident of increased investment in Zim PDF Print E-mail

The Chinese business community in Zimbabwe are optimistic of future investment from China a move that will contribute to the growth of the country’s economy.


According to the Charge d’Affairs of the Chinese Embassy Mr Zhao Baogang more Chinese investment is expected in the country.

Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Chinese Business Association Mr Li Xinfeng says the country’s path to economic recovery is imminent adding Zimbabwe has potential for investment opportunities.

The government of Zimbabwe has stepped up efforts to improve the country’s business environment through the formulation and implementation of various initiatives aimed at attracting foreign investment as informed by the government’s ZIMASSET economic blue print.

Some of these include ease of doing business reforms, review of the indeginisation and economic empowerment regulations, setting up of special economic zones and the operationalisation of the one stop shop investment centre among others.
